Welcome to our newest member Susan Wiley.
Susan is the 3rd representative from Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) along with Martha Grier and Kiran Sekhri.
Ms. Wiley joined Wayne County Community College District in 2000 and currently works as a District Executive Project Manager in the Office of the Chancellor. WCCCD is a five-campus multi-cultural institution serving more than 70,000 students annually.
She provides focused executive support to the Chancellor on strategic initiatives and long-range planning. She manages the Chancellor’s emails and electronic calendar, executing accurate and timely responses through communication; developing continued enhancement processes. She prioritizes and manages issues addressed to and by the Chancellor, including those that are sensitive and confidential in nature. She is responsible for developing and managing performance appraisal timelines. She improves efficiency and quality by streamlining systems and processes.
She provides complex and intricate support to ensure project objectives are accomplished through planning and evaluating career and transfer programs District-wide. She manages office logistics and performs several high-level review functions. She assists and manages the record retention process for the Chancellor’s Office and stakeholders, and provides leadership on task forces, committees, and councils. Susan organizes and coordinates external relations’ efforts and manages special projects. Promotes Continuing Education program with respect to staff, students, and community, and assists with the Passport to Africa, Chancellor’s Reading Carnival, December Delights and Ceremonies and Rituals committees.
