EWI of Detroit-Windsor was chosen to receive a $10,000 donation from Operation Give. EWI will be presented with a check for our 501(c)(3) Literacy Fund at the upcoming Charity Gala on November 26th in Detroit. This gala is a big fundraiser for Operation Give as well as a celebration.
Operation Give is also a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to inspire people to make a difference in the lives of children.Metro-Detroit is growing and changing, but its charities need support more than ever to help aid in the positive advancement of the community. The charities Operation Give supports are all great causes and ones in which our foundation strongly believes in. Operation Give is dedicated to making philanthropic endeavors in the Metro-Detroit area and is confident that its donations make a difference.
EWI of Detroit-Windsor, an Executive Women International chapter, is committed to the community promotion of literacy. Through our Literacy Fund (B/C/DP) we’ve enlisted the aid of corporations, writers, teachers, and many others to promote reading and writing opportunities to children. Projects and programs include reading rallies, Authors Under Construction, Brick by Book Building a School of Readers and education scholarships to women and men in need – all with the same goal, to make a lasting and positive impact in our communities. See Literacy.
EWI Corporate has more than 1,400 member companies and 1,600 representatives continue to thrive in EWI on an international level today. We continue to grow in nearly 45 Chapters located in major cities in the United States and Canada. EWI is a premier organization for connecting, building community and developing both professionally and personally for today’s business professionals and their firms.
Many thanks to Operation Give, to Maria Sarkisian, EWI Member through Member Firm Bassett & Bassett Communication Managers and Counselors & Operation Give member and to EWI Member Renea Anastasia for her commitment to EWI literacy programs.
