In 1989 when Andiamo opened its first Italian restaurant, the goal was simple – deliver fine Italian cuisine by using the freshest seasonal ingredients and prepare them from scratch each and every day. This goal set by the late Master Chef Aldo Ottaviani was achieved and as a result Andiamo exceeded all expectations, expanding to nine metro Detroit locations. Andiamo has never strayed from its founding principles and continues to provide exceptional service and authentic Italian cuisine prepared by hand every day.
There is a parking structure near the hotel side of the RenCen as well as valet parking on the riverfront side at the Andiamo entrance.
The Serendipitious Soul
The Serendipitous Soul exists to help people find relief in their lives. Relief from the accelerated pace of today’s society which results in minds being full, not necessarily mindful. We see the growing desires for living more centered, meaningful lives. Acquiring new life skills and practicing meditation invites more peace in your life, and like yoga which was once uncommon, we recognize that peace practices will become just as significant in the coming years. Understand that when you take time out for yourself in meaningful ways – you show up differently in the world. It is not just our own self that is impacted, it is everyone we come in contact with, and for that we are grateful.
You may have heard the word “mindfulness” buzzed about and wondered exactly what it is and how it could benefit you, we’ll discuss that. You may have also noticed more buzz around the idea of meditation these days. Jennifer will share how a 5,000 year old practice could potentially bring you more happiness in this, the 21st Century.
It’s all in the development of what we here at “The Serendipitous Soul” like to refer to as a “Peace Practice.”
Let’s see if we can help you find a little bigger “piece of peace” April 13th making you a better employee and human being, all around.
This month, we’ll be adding something new to our monthly meetings, the new ‘EWI Member Spotlight’.
EWI of Detroit Windsor is made up of many professional and executive level females who hold different corporate and entreprenueral roles across many industries. Each month, a member will share their professional successes and story on how EWI has helped shape their careers and advancement.
This month, we’ll hear from Suzanne Gabli, DBS Print and Marketing, who joined EWI when she was 29 years old. Now, over 15 years later, she’ll share how EWI has helped her grow from a young sales rep. to Vice President in her company.
