Professional Development

Speaker: Liz Derrick, American Group
Director of Business Development – Independent Advisor Services and Financial Institution Services and a 12 Week Year Coach

Liz started in the financial services industry in May of 2003 after working for the past 20 years as an entrepreneur in diverse markets. She joined Craig J. Snyder, CFP®, CLU and the America Group in advisor services learning every facet of the business. She is credited for establishing name recognition and a significant presence in a niche market for America Groups top producer who earned the Chairman’s Council Award (1+ Million GDC) at LPL Financial. In addition, she leveraged LPL’s Partners Program networking with CPAs as a marketing startup for new hires. She is also instrumental in providing key support for purchasing and selling of independent FA books and succession planning.

Topic: The 12 Week Year

What differentiates truly great performers and organizations from mediocre ones is an ability to effectively execute on what they know.

There is a gap for most of us between what we know we should do and what we are actually willing to do.

Liz will guide us through:

  • 3 critical principles that will put teeth in your execution and magnify your results.
  • Work/life balance and keeping your vision before you.
  • Resistance monsters and how to deal with them

Liz will be giving out 30 free copy of the book The 12 Week Year to registered and paid dinner attendees.
