EWI of Detroit-Windsor Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner 2014
Download Full PDF Invitation
Our finest moments are when we give to those who need and help change their lives.
The EWI Detroit-Windsor Scholarships Awards Event is a proud moment for EWI, all it’s members and the Detroit Community. Distributing thousands in scholarship awards to three deserving adults that face economic, social or physical challenges, and who are looking to improve their situation through educational opportunities, is something we work on all year long.
Again this year, EWI Detroit-Windsor is awarding three scholarships, plus one lucky award winner will also receive an additional scholarship from EWI Corporate ASIST.
Join us to celebrate the 2014 scholarship winners, and appreciate the Member Firms who graciously supported with financial donations.

Special Centerpieces: “Food Baskets for Gleaners”
This event is also supporting Gleaners Food Bank with “Firm Supported Food Basket Centerpieces”. If you or your firm would like to donate a centerpiece food basket or need more information, please contact Renea Callery.
As you may be aware, our Chapter partnered with Gleaners Food Bank earlier this year by donating cereal for children to support their Hunger Free Summer program. To continue to support this vital organization, the Scholarship Committee is asking that each firm assemble a food basket for the September 17th event.
The baskets will be used as dinner table centerpieces and donated to Gleaners to help fight hunger in southeastern Michigan.
Feel free to be creative: fill a basket, a bucket, or anything else that will hold a variety of non-perishable food items.
- Perhaps include a grocery gift card that will be put to good use.
- Perhaps your employees would like to donate items.
- You can theme your basket or include a firm brochure, whatever inspires you!
It would be amazing to see every table supported by our firms — and another proud EWI moment when we turn the baskets over to the Gleaners team.
Let’s all help make a difference. Please contact Renea Callery,email@example.com, to confirm your firm’s (or your) donation of a centerpiece food basket.
